WE NEED YOUR HELP !
Our beloved Alabama Zeta chapter has been placed on Notice to be Closed due to manpower. As you will see in the letter below from Nationals, Alabama Zeta needs to maintain a chapter role of at least 25 men or be #1 in manpower on campus. We are currently niether.
The Letter from HQ
Under the leadership of our devoted and long-time chapter counselor, Brother Joel Brelsford, the alumni and undergraduates are undergoing a comprehensive effort to rebuild the chapter. We have a strong group of undergraduates returning to school this year and all are focused on the task at hand. An alumni board has been reformed and is currently engaged with area alumni in a comprehensive renovation of chapter facilities and helping to identify & remove any barriers for entry that might exist for potential new members.

WE NEED YOUR INVOLVEMENT
Join us at recruitment events, football games, canoe trip, & Homecoming this fall.
Volunteer with the chapter by joining the alumni board, hosting an alumni event, mentoring a chapter officer, or teaching a seminar on time mgmt, legal careers, etc. Please contact Joel Brelsford if you are interested in volunteering.
WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The best way for out of town alumni to impact Alabama Zeta's survival is to fund your chapter's facility renovation and fall 2008 recruitment efforts. We have outlined a budget and will need more financial support in 2008/2009 than at any other time in our Aumni Association's history.
Chapter facility renovations are underway and will be a key recruitment tool. Improvements include a large locking storage area, trophy case, a kitchen area with bar-top to seat 8 to 12, refinished meeting room furniture, new air conditioning units, complete renovation of the bathroom, furnishing of the Residential Learning Center and faculty fellow office as well as new casual furnishings for the recreation space. These efforts will be largely completed by September 5, 2008 but have been paid for by a loan secured by the Alumni Board. Alumni Association members (this means you) will have to repay this loan.
Balanced Man Scholarships are also an excellent way to assist with recruitment and retain members. No matter what amount you can give, please help us to raise as much scholarship money as possible for this critical fall rush period.
